London Wedding Photographer, Paul Rogers

Love photography, hate posing? You've come to the right website!

I'm a Documentary Wedding Photographer which means I won't keep your guests waiting for hours while your special day turns into a photo-shoot.

What I will do is find beautiful and natural moments like all the ones you can see in the slideshow above. Practically none of those moments are staged or posed, and they happen at every single wedding. You just need a documentary wedding photographer who notices them and can capture them for you for ever.

As an experienced photojournalist with The Times newspaper in London, my style of wedding photojournalism, is based on almost twenty years experience as an editorial photographer. I've photographed Royalty and World Leaders, conflicts and disasters, at home and abroad. It's that experience that brings a unique style to your wedding photographs.

Documentary photography is all about capturing the feelings and emotions of the day without interference. Wedding photojournalists don’t pose or set up pictures, they allow the day to flow naturally, and your album will reflect the emotions and moments of the day. This results in a beautiful set of natural, timeless images of the bride and groom and the rest of the bridal party. The best documentary wedding photographers are able to capture photographs that will take you right back to the moment, every time you look at your album.

I'm an award winning Fearless Photographer, 1st in the UK in the Wedding Photojournalism Association contest, and have had my work featured on Junebug Weddings. Check out some featured weddings below. Documentary wedding Photofilms use the audio from the speeches and vows, together with still photographs, to create a powerful memory of your wedding day. It's a great alternative to hiring a separate Videographer. I'm a firm believer that you should see a wide body of work from your wedding photographer, to see how they deal with tricky lighting and a variety of locations. Here you can see everything I've been working on recently on the blog. It's the 20 years experience of working for The Times newspaper that makes my wedding photography different from the other sites you'll have been on. Have a look at my editorial portfolio to see what influences my style.
